The main duties of the job will be to:
Ensure that crockery and cutlery are cleaned to our high standards and are stored to prevent breakages.
Clean and store cooking pots and equipment.
Keep food preparation areas, walls and floors clean and sanitised.
Carry out a weekly deep clean of the kitchen / kitchen equipment in accordance with our cleaning schedule.
Remove and dispose of waste in accordance with our recycling policy.
Ensure that food storage areas and fridges are kept clean and organised.
Unload and store deliveries.
Undertake training as appropriate.
Previous experience of working in a kitchen environment
Be punctual and reliable
Be clean and presentable
Have good communication skills
Have access to transport or a resident of the village
DURATION OF EMPLOYMENT
Seasonal but permanent.
HOURLY RATE
The hourly rate is up to £11.50 plus tips which are shared out equally between members of staff.
HOLIDAYS
You will accrue holidays as you work.
