We have six 5 star guest rooms which have been individually designed. We have a very high standard of facilities and cleanliness in our rooms and common areas, and are always on the lookout for people who take pride in a job well done to join our team.
The main duties of the job will be to:
Strip and make beds
Launder towels and pillowcases
Iron pillowcases
Replenish hospitality trays
Empty and clean bins
Fill up toiletries
Clean and sanitise sinks, toilets, baths and showers
Mop bathroom floors
Clean windows, blinds and radiators
Polish mirrors, light switches and tissue boxes
Dust & vacuum bedrooms and stairs
Clean customer toilets
Clean entrance hallway
Ensure cleaning, toiletries and refreshments are kept stocked
Prompt reporting of any lost and found property and any problems in the rooms
Have experience of working in a housekeeping role.
Be punctual and reliable.
Be welcoming, clean and presentable.
Have access to transport to and from work (lifts are often available from other staff) or be a resident of the village.
You will be joining our existing housekeeper and hours are between 10:30 - 3:30pm depending upon how many rooms need servicing. We can be flexible with the days of the week that you work.
