We like to make a fuss of our guests, and breakfast is no exception! We have a varied menu of hot choices, as well as a selection of cereals, toast & local preserves, fruit salads, yoghurts, breakfast muffins, and fruit.
Our award-winning sausages and bacon come from free-range pigs from Lon Farm in Prion – just over the hills! Our free-range eggs come from Cefn Ochr Isa Farm in Betws Y Coed and are and RSPCA ‘freedom food’ approved. All of our dairy products are locally sourced, including yoghurts from Llaeth Y Llan in Llanefydd, and milk, cream and butter from South Caernarfonshire Dairies. We cook using locally produced rapeseed oil from Blodyn Aur which is harvested just a few miles away, and use Halen Mon (Anglesey) sea salt to season our food. Our bread is delivered fresh every day from the Tandderwen Bakery just a few doors up, and our preserves are made in Pwllheli.
We can cater for most diets and have gluten free bread and veggie / vegan options just in case, including milk and spreads. If in doubt - don't hesitate to ask - we're happy to help!
We've thought long and hard about how to keep giving our guests 5* service while respecting social distancing. We have decided to keep our 8:30 - 9:30am breakfast slot, but for the moment, we are asking guests to give us their breakfast order by 10:00pm the night before, and to agree a slot with us. This is to help us with social distancing, and to take account of the fact that we are unable to provide an open breakfast buffet, so need to ensure we have enough time with each set of guests to provide table service for these items. If we are unable to open the restaurant due to restrictions, food will be served in your room. Please note that there could be a slight delay when delivering breakfast to your room.
Slots will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
If you've got an early start, we can arrange for a 'breakfast to go' bag for you. Just let us know what time you're leaving and we'll make sure it's outside your room.
