Frequently Asked Questions

ARE YOU DOG-FRIENDLY?

We have a few tables where we can accommodate well-behaved dogs on a lead. If you are hoping to bring your dog, please let us know in the special requests section of your booking so we can make sure that we have space in one of our dog-friendly spaces.

DO YOU HAVE PARKING?

We don’t have any onsite parking, but you can park on the double yellows to the left of us between 14th October to 14th March. You can also park on the road in between St Mary’s Church and the Royal Oak which is just a minute’s walk away. If you prefer more secure parking, there is a long-stay car park just over the Pont Y Pair bridge. If you are staying with us – it costs £5.30 for 24 hours and you can top up by app so you don’t need to return to your car when your slot is up. If you need to drop off your bags, it’s fine to park up outside for a few minutes.

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED IN THE RESTAURANT?

Olif is a small, intimate restaurant designed as an adults-only space but we welcome children 14 years and older.

ACCESSIBILITY

Our building was built in an elevated position (to avoid floods!) in Victorian times so we are limited in what we can do to make the building more accessible. Olif is accessed by 12 steps directly from the highway (no pavement). Our toilets are on the 1st floor (11 steps on the staircase). If you or anyone that will be coming with you has limited mobility, please get in touch so we can see how we can help.
